Our understanding of the "world-wide crisis"
We are into Marketing, so let's face it. We know what a good communication plan can do. We know how actually "easy" we can manipulate people.
From my point of view most of the actual situation is a big media manipulation. And no, I am not looking for any conspiracy. It's just that it seems everybody is overreacting and every piece of what it might be true is blown up.
So what now? Should we stop investing in Marketing and cut costs? Should we invest in Marketing and swim against the mainstream? Cut outsourcing/ consulting costs instead of cutting down internal costs?
Still, most of the so called forecasts claim that the Internet industry is not going to be affected by the actual situation. Yes, the hype is going to disappear, but investing in digital communication can help your company "survive" the crisis...
Later Edit: Thank you, Mike, for the corrections, we did our Mea Culpa and modified the post where necessary. You have a keen sense of observation, keep it up!
